Curriculum vitae        

 Fr. Christoforos Chronis was born in Agrinio in 1974. He is a married clergyman-protopresbyter (with 6 children), of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania, parish priest at the Holy Church of St. Christoforos (Patron Saint) of Agrinio. 
         He worked as a permanent appointed teacher in Secondary Education-specialization PE01. 
         He is a graduate of the Department of Social Theology of the Theological School of the University of Athens (1997) and holds a master's degree from the Faculty of Philosophy of Athens, specializing in Moral and Ethical Philosophy (2007) and PhD from the Faculty of Theology/Department of Theology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2016). 
         Holder of certified training programs of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1.Religion and Psychoanalysis, 2.Separation-Divorce Management, 3.Introduction to Counseling, 4.Psychoanalysis: Theory and Practice, 5.Educational Psychology, 6.Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and the University of Patras (7.Artificial Intelligence and Education). 
         Since 2017 he has been an executive and trainer at the Foundation for Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens. 
         He is the author of four monographs, an educational material for the Pastoral Training Foundation of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and several articles of pastoral and pastoral psychology content, published in scientific journals and websites.  
         From February 2020 to January 2024, he taught the courses Pastoral Theology, Pastoral Psychology and Pastoral Care of the Sick at the Faculty of Theology/Department of Theology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as an academic scholar of the ELKE.
         On December 3, 2024, he was elected Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Athens-Department of Theology, in the field of "Pastoral Theology and Psychology". On May 27, 2025, he gave the necessary assurance before the Rector, Mr. Gerasimos Siasos, and joined the teaching staff of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Athens-Department of Theology.
